Freda and Myron, after their presentations at LENAPE/SCANDINAVAIN Symposium, Sept. 26. 2015 Freda is an example of many "Native Americans," whose ancestors spoke "Algonquin." Algonquin is Old Norse. Most people in America spoke Old Norse, when the English invaded. Those American people, were Scandinavians. .___________

Erik,
You seam a bit more quite since the symposium. I hope that my not attending it did not turn you sour.
We, (Myron, Bill, Bob, Leroy, Jon and Roger) have been at this research for many many years and we have good years and others not so good, but we persevere and are committed in our beliefs the Vikings were here and we all have been cheated from the real story. But hey, as I say too,''I or we have a fun hobby''. And I have always been amazed at my continued discoveries. BUT then along comes Rowlett and something unimaginable or unpredictable and words here fail me. As Bill and Ted said,,,''we are not worthy'',,, of the truth...
But then to the symposium.
If WE ALL could have worked together YOU might have learned and understood we here in Minnesota would have both wanted to be included and heard too. If we had had a good ''live link or conference call or Skype'' up so we in Minnesota could have gotten together at my place and had a conference call during the symposium it would have been just like being there in person.
I had told a dozen researcher friends etc about this event, but Bob and Leroy are still farming and when the crops are ready for harvest they ''need to make hay'' and are busy day and niter until the crops are in.
Me, I am also trying to get the last portion of my lodge/home enclosed and buttoned up while the extended fall warmer weather permits. And, when and (and if) I am gong to be speaking and answering questions at a symposium, I need to be prepared (aka up on my game so-to-speak) and that takes time for me to get in that mind set etc too. When I moved back here to Minnesota a few years ago and started this home AND research project I had to put building the house first or at the top of my list until I was fully enclosed and able to live in at least part of the house.
Now I am farther along and we also have warm weather yet, I am a full time carpenter. I hope to put Viking Research back at the top of my list soon though too. But then my time is always, it seams, best-spent ship hunting and doing legwork. A few years ago there was but three of us in my area that was part our of the team that are actively our searching AND we have now added a few more and also the area out in North Dakota along the ancient former lower ancient glacial melt water sea aka Lake Agassiz. And another up north of Ulen and Moorhead and on the eastern shore of that same sea, now to our bigger picture of the Ancient Vikings in America.
Will you have a repost or article on what you learned on gained from the symposium? Or will it be in your next book?
Keep searching for the answers and the truth and have faith, and wish me luck ship hunting and maybe you and others could write Ralph Rowlett and encourage him to return my artifacts too.
Have a good fall and holidays...
Thanks
Steve

Vikings,
Interesting article on the resurgence of interest in Viking culture in Norway - discussion material for the 27October meeting of the Viking Club.It has helped make pride in the Viking Age respectable at a time when Norwegians, like many other Europeans, are looking to the past to shore up identities shaken by alarm over immigration and the impact of globalization.
We could also deal with these Viking themes and issues at the 2016 Symposium at the Missouri History Museum - what do you think? Nordic Identity in the 21st Century is a possible theme!
We are also considering sending a delegation to the Viking Reenactment at Elk Horn, Iowa, during the Tivolii Fest in May 2016.

Steve,
.
Good to hear from you again! It is
clear to me that your presence would have constituted a valuable contribution
to the symposium, based on the several months of email exchanges we had.
.
I do not use Skype as the conversations
tend to be trivial and not well thought out and documented!
.
What I have learned from the conference
is that:
.
Established academics want NO part of any Pre-Columbian
history of North America,
.
The Viking/Norse/Irish and other
discoverers have been in North America for thousands of years,
.
The Lenape do not in general, want to acknowledge any Nordic
ancestors or DNA evidence,
.
That Ralph is most likely a thief or
extremely demented,
.
That Freda is an outstanding example of
Lenape/Scandinavian heritage,
.
That Bill should have been given 2-3
hours of presentation time for his interesting contributions,
.
That Myron has done exemplary work in
correcting a false history of North America.
.
That my Scandinavian organizations found
the presentations interesting - but NOT especially relevant to their interests,
.
That the Cahokia Mounds representatives
have NO great knowledge or interest in a Nordic/American Indian symposium,
.
And, most important of all:
ESTABLISHMENT ELITES CONTROL THE HISTORY
AND THINKING OF MOST AMERICANS - WHETHER KENNEDY'S MURDER, THE VIETNAM AND IRAQ
WARS, THE MUSLIM INFILTRATION OF THE US, THE DESTRUCTION OF THE AMERICAN WAY OF
LIFE BY THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM, AND THE CULTURAL WAR BEING CONDUCTED BY OUR
MUSLIM PRESIDENT AND HIS ALLIES!
.
The "suppression by omission"
of truth that Myron so accurately described is continuing by the elites who
control us peons today!
.
I have directed my efforts to writing a 300-page
book of Scandinavian folk songs and another book on Quantum Physics &
God. Time is running out on me on this planet, and I have several more
books to write before meeting my Maker!
.
If we have a seminar in 2016 again at
the Missouri History Museum, it will most likely be on purely Scandinavian
themes, culture, history, language, etc., as this would attract more
representation. My intent is to continue these seminars on an annual
basis.

If “Freda is an outstanding example of Lenape/Scandinavian heritage,” then she is an example that most Americans were Scandinavian before the English invasion.
Which Scandinavian organizations, today, do NOT find that information especially relevant to their interests?
.
If “Myron has done exemplary work in correcting a false history of North America,” then the knowledge of systematic suppression by omission should inform most Scandinavian organizations that the original Scandinavians of America were suppressed in American history by omission.
.
The descendants of the original Scandinavian still have restricted opportunities though out North America, the land that the original Scandinavians had once made better.
.
Which Scandinavian organizations, today, do NOT find that information especially relevant to their interests?
