SLIPPERY WATER

was beneath the Lenape as they walked away from Greenland.”  They were going west to America.
,

They left the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost hair-dos (their churches) behind.
,
But they still had faith in the Holy Spirit promised by Jesus in the Gospel of John.
,
Later, they would call that spirit the “Great Spirit.”

Four churches, about 1,000 people, are shown in the pictograph.  There appear to be grouped into two groups of two.  The reason may have been because the Lenape men, who had been to America before, knew there were only enough shelters for 500 people.
,
The tactics may have been for two churches to move into the shelters.  They would stay there just long enough to dry out, eat some of the stored food, rest, and repair clothing before moving on.  Then the second set of two churches would move into the shelters.
,
The men knew that staying in the shelters through the flying pest summer season was as much as a death trap as freezing in Greenland.  So, they had to MOVE on the frozen ground and ice in the darkness to survive.  Their best, maybe their only, chance was to get to James Bay before the ice was mush.
,
There appears to have been a group of people with no religion between the churches.  These people probably wanted to walk to America also, but they may have had other places to stay.
