THE EXASPERATION

of the Historian, may have been recorded in error.
.
The Historian appears to have understood more English than the Moravian recorders understood Lenape.
.
The Historian might have been aware that much was being lost in translation.  Then he may have known the Recorders were not recording that the Americans had a high priest "of the light" visit America.
.
He may have expressed his opinion at the performance of the recorders.  Then, when he saw that they copied his outburst without understanding what he said, the Historian may have decided to let the record stand so that future generations would know that the  recordings were flawed.
